Set against the rolling hills of Piedmont, Rocca di Arignano is a medieval castle that has been lovingly restored, balancing historic charm with contemporary elegance. Dating back to the 11th century, this remarkable venue has been brought back to life by Luca Veronelli and Elsa Panini, whose passion for preserving its heritage has transformed it into an extraordinary setting for refined celebrations.
The castle’s stone walls, grand archways, and restored frescoes tell the story of its past, while carefully considered modern updates make it an exceptional location for couples seeking a wedding experience that feels both timeless and effortless. From intimate ceremonies in the gardens to candlelit receptions in its medieval halls, Rocca di Arignano is truly one of a kind.
A Styled Shoot Reuniting Creative Visionaries
In March 2023, I had the pleasure of working with Sonia Petrazzi of Art Wedding Italy on a stunning styled shoot in Venice. When she invited me to collaborate again in October 2024 – this time at Rocca di Arignano – I knew it would be another beautifully curated project. Sonia’s attention to detail and passion for storytelling always result in something special, and this shoot was no exception.
Her vision was to intertwine the venue’s history with a modern aesthetic – bringing to life a celebration that would resonate with couples looking for something both meaningful and unforgettable. Working alongside photographer and creative director Davide Bonaiti, we set out to capture the essence of Rocca di Arignano, ensuring that every moment reflected the venue’s elegance, character, and timeless beauty.
A Celebration of History and Elegance
The styling, led by Marco Segantin and Centro Noleggio, embraced the venue’s medieval charm while introducing a sense of modern refinement. Long tables, draped in hand-dyed linens, were adorned with artisanal ceramics and softly glowing candlelight, echoing the grandeur of the castle’s interiors.
The bride, styled by Letizia Cordella, embodied effortless sophistication in a flowing Elisabetta Polignano gown, complemented by delicate jewellery from Maison Parada and La Vue Milano. A striking hat by Patrizia Fabri added a bold yet timeless touch. The groom, in bespoke attire from Casamivida and Laura R. Style, exuded understated elegance, completing his look with handcrafted Francesco Lanzone shoes.

Throughout the day, we captured moments that felt both intimate and grand:
• An exchange of vows beneath an ancient tree, a setting rich in history and symbolism
• A majestic black horse, evoking a sense of adventure and romance
• A candlelit champagne tower, adding a touch of old-world glamour
• A rooftop terrace transformed into a space for dancing under the stars
Every detail was carefully curated to reflect the timeless elegance of Rocca di Arignano, ensuring that the story we told felt as authentic as it was cinematic.
