With twenty years storytelling experience at the BBC and more than a decade in wedding filmmaking, I understand the importance of collaborating collectively with planners and suppliers to ensure the best possible outcome for all clients.

Welcome to my page dedicated to planners and suppliers inside the luxury wedding and event space.
I am the founder and Creative Director of the international wedding film company, Story Of Your Day, which is a much sought-after and multi-award-winning film brand for discerning couples who share a mutual vision, wish for an exceptional experience and have a passion for storytelling.
My studio is based in a beautiful car-free ski resort called Wengen in the heart of Switzerland and with my UK-based fabulous collective of videographers, ‘Team Emma’, Story Of Your Day is well-placed to cover high-profile and prestigious weddings and events throughout the world.

As Creative Director, this is what I want for all my clients.
To watch back their film and to feel like they’re in that moment all over again, to relive it and all the emotions it evokes. I am driven by a desire to redefine wedding films through beautiful and cinematic storytelling.
My style of filming, discreet and unobtrusive, allows me to capture those moments as they naturally unfold on the day.
And, with my expertise in editing, I will tell their own individual wedding story in a cinematic styled, short-form film based on real events – with absolutely no ‘staging’.
The best stories always end up being about the people rather than the event. “A single story can change everything” and with that in mind, I use my craft and expertise to bring my clients’ stories to life.

Background & Experience
Twenty years of working for the BBC has given me the technical know-how and storytelling skills;
While studying cinema, my experience from filming the most beautiful weddings and working with other world renowned cinematographers has given me the confidence to trust my instincts.
I resigned from the BBC in 2015, where I worked as a ‘Pioneer’ filmmaker, reporter and presenter (aka Emma Massey), including being part of a BAFTA award-winning team, to concentrate on my real passion, Story Of Your Day.
